What is CQC certification?

CQC(China Quality Certification Center)is a national certification body (NCB) that represents China to participate in the IECEE-CB system. It is also a member of the International  Certification Network(IQNet) and the International Federal of Organic Agriculture Movement(IFOAM). CQC enjoys a good international reputation with its international mutual recognition business with many well-known foreign certification bodies and extensive international exchanges.

What is the essential difference between 3C and CQC certification?

(1)The biggest difference between 3C and CQC certification is that 3C certification is mandatory, and CQC certification is voluntary.
1. 3C certification is China's compulsory certification system. According to China's administrative regulations,manufacturers must apply for 3C certification if their products are in the 3C certification directory, and then their products can be sold in the domestic market. Otherwise, it is illegal. If it is found by the local quality and technical supervision bureau, the manufacturer will be fined and products will be sealed, the worse result,it will be forced to suspend business for rectification.
2. CQC certification is a voluntary certification in China,it's not a mandatory certification.many products can apply for CQC certificationif they are not in the 3C certification product catalogue. Manufacturers who do CQC certification are generally required to do it at the customer's request or for the purpose of market promotion. It should be noted that in the process of whole machine 3C certification, the accessories are also required to provide CQC certification, so many accessories manufacturers must apply for CQC certification at the request of the whole machine manufacturers.
(2)There is no intersection between the scope of 3C certification and CQC certification, that is to say, products that can do 3C certification can not do CQC certification, and products that can do CQC certification can not do 3C certification.
